Following the recent announcement of its partnership with global sporting giant Arsenal F.C., Cover-More Travel Insurance has added another sporting franchise to its select sponsorship portfolio.
Cover-More has forged a five-year deal with Gold Coast Suns, worth an estimated $7m, which will see it become the club's exclusive travel insurance partner and see its brand featured on the front of the away and clash guernseys, the back of the home guernsey, and on team-training gear and support-team apparel.
Cover-More CEO Mike Emmett said the team-up was an investment in both the club and in its exciting location in one of Australia's most popular travel destinations.
“AFL is a massive industry in Australia with a dedicated and passionate following and we are thrilled to associate our brand with both the AFL and one of the newest teams in the GC SUNS,” Emmett said.
GC Suns CEO Mark Evans said the partnership with the travel insurer would benefit Suns members and fans through access to Suns-branded travel insurance products whenever they travel, either within Australia or internationally.
