A Gallagher employee has been named Senior Broker of the Year at the Northern Territory Insurance Awards.
Andrew McCormack, account executive at Gallagher Alice Springs, took the top honours this year, after being named a runner-up in the category in 2017, beating Jane Taylor of MGA Insurance Brokers and Dennis Rebbeck of DPR Insurance Brokers for the prestigious title.
McCormack started his insurance career in 2002 and became a broker in 2010.
McCormack “is a dedicated and conscientious professional who always puts the needs of his clients first,” said Damien Pile, Gallagher’s acting Northern Territory manager. “He’s well known and respected in the Alice Springs business community and is a very worthy winner."
Another Gallagher broker who was recognised during the event was Doug Black, Darwin-based NT claims manager, who was named a runner-up in the Claims Professional of the Year category.
