Maven Insurance + Advisory (Maven) will join McLardy McShane Partners (McLardy McShane) as a corporate authorised representative, effective May 1, 2023.

Maven is an established brokerage operating in Melbourne and Torquay. Its founder and director, Andrew Locke, leads a team of 12, including experienced and fellow directors Jason Daniels and Nigel Sullivan.

Together, Maven and McLardy McShane aim to explore the joint opportunities that will open from the deal.

“We are very excited to have such professional, high-quality brokers and businesses like Maven Insurance & Advisory keen to be part of our group. We place a lot of emphasis on culture, and having known Andrew and most of his team for many years, we know their culture, values, and measures of success are closely aligned with ours,” said McLardy McShane CEO Don McLardy.

McLardy McShane teams up with Melbourne Football Club

Aside from the deal with Maven, McLardy McShane partnered with Melbourne Football Club (also known as Demons) for the next two years.

“We look forward to working closely with the Melbourne Football Club and providing a general insurance broking and advisory service to the broader MFC community,” McLardy said. “We already have many existing Demon clients, and we are very excited about this partnership that formalises an already long-standing relationship between Melbourne and McLardy McShane Insurance Brokers.”

Melbourne Football Club CEO Gary Pert said that he was thrilled to have McLardy McShane onboard.

“Don and [Foundation Hero Mike McShane] have been long-time members and major contributors of the club, so we're really proud to formally welcome McLardy McShane as an official partner,” Pert said. “Both Don and Mike have had immense impact over a number of years, and it's great to have their further support ahead of an exciting year. We look forward to fostering a successful partnership this season and beyond.”
