Richard Talbot-Jones

Richard is the MD of Talbot Jones Ltd, Chartered Insurance Brokers, based in Gateshead. TJ Ltd is a specialist brokerage supporting third sector organisations and professional practices. Richard has over 15 years’ experience of arranging charity and professional indemnity policies; he is a Fellow of the CII and is a Chartered Insurance broker in his own right. He is a past-President of the Insurance Institute of Newcastle upon Tyne, has previously served on the CII’s Local Institute National Forum, and is a past-Trustee of The Insurance Charities. Richard holds an MBA from the University of Northumbria, is a Chartered Manager and a Fellow of the International Institute of Risk & Safety Management. Outside of insurance, Richard is a paddlesports coach with the Scouts and Sea Cadets and retails his own line of Toy Soldiers.
