Benefact Group’s Provenance Insurance Brokers and Aberdeen-headquartered automotive business John Clark Motor Group have partnered to form John Clark Motor Insurance Services.

“This partnership will create a real force by delivering products and services that are tailored to meet individual customer needs,” Provenance automotive partnerships director Chris McDonald said in an emailed release. “By harnessing our collective strengths, we believe we can set new standards of excellence in this sector.”

The new entity is aimed at offering premium insurance solutions for prestige and high-performance vehicles, as well as specialist coverage for home, contents, life, and commercial risks. The plan is to leverage the family-run dealer group’s reputation as a premium motor trade partner while setting up a nationwide distribution network for the new broker

Provenance chief executive Jason Connon noted: “This partnership aligns with our ambition to grow the business in support of the Benefact Group’s objective to be the number one corporate donator in the UK. This new brokerage is an important step in our motor distribution strategy and a strong platform for wider private client insurance initiatives in 2024 and beyond.”

Manned by more than 1,300 people across 38 locations, John Clark Motor Group has an annual turnover of over £910 million. Meanwhile the spinoff brokerage, according to Provenance, is projected to achieve a multi-million-pound gross written premium.

“We are delighted to join forces and provide customers with access to an exceptional suite of products and services,” John Clark Motor Group finance and insurance director Niral Patel commented. “The synergies and vision we share and a determination to put the customer first means the potential for growth in this sector is significant.”
