Allianz Insurance plc is celebrating after being awarded chartered insurer status by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), making it the largest chartered firm in the UK insurance market.
 
The CII awards chartered status to an organization if it demonstrates commitment to the technical excellence of its personnel. A statement from Allianz outlines that the company takes pride in this status as it shows customers, brokers, and corporate partners that Allianz meets the highest standards of expertise and professionalism in the industry.
 
CII chief executive Sian Fisher said: “Chartered Insurers such as Allianz set the benchmark for excellence in our profession, and will continue to play an important role in inspiring confidence and trust in the power of professional standards.”
