For the 14th consecutive year, Allianz Insurance in the UK has been awarded the esteemed Chartered Insurers Status by the Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII) for 2024, affirming the company's sustained excellence and dedication within the commercial insurance sector.

Dave Carey, the managing director of mid market at Allianz Commercial, expressed his gratitude over this achievement, highlighting the importance of this status in reflecting the company's ongoing commitment to its employees' development and the overall pursuit of technical excellence.

“Retaining our status highlights our long-term commitment to the development and growth of our people and our emphasis on technical excellence. We are a trusted brand because of our great products and services and also our fantastic people, I’d like to thank everyone for their dedication, professionalism and continued enthusiasm all of which has played a key role in this accreditation,” Carey said.

Other recent developments for Allianz

This certification follows other recent developments for the giant insurer. A few weeks ago, Allianz widened its brand reach in the UK’s personal insurance market as it rebranded British subsidiaries LV= Broker and Flow to elevate the insurer’s profile among UK consumers.

“This is part of a wider strategic vision to bring more of Allianz to the UK, to show how our global strength and depth of experience can help secure people’s futures. Our ambition is to shape ideas into innovative solutions that help us care for our customers, and to always deliver the best service possible,” Allianz Personal MD Serge Raffard said.

In March, the firm’s legal arm – Allianz Legal Protection (ALP) –announced a revamp of its existing After The Event (ATE) insurance offerings aimed at clinical negligence and personal injury law firms.
