There is a new face in the Manchester office of Arch Insurance – and one that brokers will soon be seeing regularly.
Alison Merriman (pictured), a local to the city, has been appointed as broker relationship development manager at the firm with immediate effect and is set to work closely with branch manager Louise Hopkins.
“Alison is a tremendous addition to our team and has a strong track record of building highly successful broker relationships,” said senior vice president of strategy & distribution for Arch Insurance’s UK regional division Mike Bottle. “She has considerable knowledge of all aspects of the property and casualty market in the UK and has worked extensively across the North West region. Our Manchester team is undergoing a period of considerable business growth and we will continue to invest in market-leading talent to support this.”
Merriman, meanwhile, expressed her own delight at joining the firm and working with brokers across the region.
