Beazley secures new marketing chief

Specialist insurer Beazley has announced the appointment of Georgina Peters-Venzano (pictured) as chief marketing officer. Peters-Venzano will assume the role in March 2020, and will lead the company’s global marketing and communications strategy. She will be based in the company’s London office and will head up a team based in the UK and the US, while reporting to Lou Ann Layton, Beazley’s global head of broker relations.

Peters-Venzano has more than 18 years of marketing and communications experience in the insurance and financial services sectors. She joins Beazley from CNA Hardy, where she served as director for brand strategy, marketing and communications. She has also served as senior marketing communications manager at Coller Capital and communications consultant at Chubb Insurance Company of Europe.

“Georgina brings exceptional all-around experience in developing marketing and communications strategies across the insurance industry and wider financial services,” Layton said. “Strong leadership credentials combined with deep insurance industry knowledge and a track record of delivering successful, creative global marketing campaigns will make her a fantastic leader and addition to our team. We are delighted Georgina will be joining us and we look forward to welcoming her.”
