Jon Houghton, who has been with Chubb since 2010, has become the insurer’s head of distribution for the UK and Ireland.

“Over the last six years he has been instrumental in driving deeper engagement with our national broker partners, and I now look forward to working with him to continue that success with all our relationships across the entire broker spectrum to support the growth of our business through 2022 and beyond.”

Houghton first came onboard as corporate risks regional manager for the southern region. In 2012, he became UK and Ireland development and distribution manager before taking on the role of national brokers distribution manager for the two countries in 2016.

Now, as part of Houghton’s wider remit, the London-based executive will also be in charge of independent broker partner engagement.
