Chubb has appointed Martin Audis as senior underwriter for general aviation for its London market wholesale and specialty arm Chubb Global Markets (CGM).
In his new role, Audis will be responsible for underwriting within the general aviation portfolio and supporting more development opportunities for CGM.
He will be based in London and report to Nigel Griffiths, regional head of general aviation.
Audis has held the position of senior aviation underwriter for various insurance groups, working at Nexus Underwriting Limited for six years and Starr Underwriting Agencies for nine years before joining Chubb this month.

According to Simon Abbott, head of aviation at CGM, aviation is one of CGM’s core product lines, which makes Audis perfect for the role given his long-running experience in the field.
“Martin is very well known and highly respected within the aviation sector for his knowledge, insights and can-do attitude,” Griffiths said. “I am delighted to welcome Martin to Chubb and I look forward to working closely with him as we continue to grow and develop this important line of business at what is a very exciting time."
