The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has confirmed that it would be the exclusive provider of professional examinations to the students of the Financial Academy for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) for the next three years.

Under the agreement signed by CII chief executive officer Sian Fisher and Financial Academy director general Mana Al Khamsan, the CII will provide professional examinations across the KSA – including Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, and Abha.

Commenting on the agreement, Fisher said: “We are delighted to be entering into this exclusive agreement with The Financial Academy to provide their students with our internationally recognised examinations.”

“The CII is committed to raising professional standards for the benefit of consumers, and we hope this will be a very significant development for the Middle East's insurance and financial planning sectors.”

The Financial Academy aims to provide the best professional development opportunities for the KSA market by partnering with various providers serving complementary purposes, including qualifications provision, training content and delivery, and quality assurance and recognition.

“We searched for the most prestigious international institutes in the field of professional development, and we chose the CII because of their experience and specialisation in this sector,” Al Khamsan said.

“In partnership with them, we are guaranteeing our members of accredited qualifications which will serve to drive up public confidence in the insurance and financial planning sectors within our country.”
