“MGAs: The Future of Insurance” – that is the theme of this year’s Managing General Agents’ Association (MGAA) conference and exhibition happening next month in London, and Gallagher UK chief executive Grahame Chilton (pictured) has been tapped as a keynote speaker.

Chilton, who is leaving his CEO post later this year, will open the event which gathers the likes of MGA business owners, representatives of trade and market bodies, and insurance leaders. Topics to be discussed include Brexit, the gender pay gap, insurtech, cybercrime, and regulations.

The annual conference will give MGAs access to more than 70 participating insurers and suppliers. It also features an insurance compliance surgery and a speed mentoring session.

Tokio Marine Kiln, the association’s principal annual sponsor, is joined by other annual backers ERGO, BLM, and Arch Insurance Company Europe.

Closing the July 12 event at the Hilton Bankside is industry veteran Robert Hiscox.
