Zachary Wolf has stepped down as chief financial officer of Enstar Group Limited.

In a release, the global insurance group said Wolf will remain available until September 30 for a transition period. He is leaving Enstar to pursue unspecified opportunities.

Next to serve as acting CFO will be Enstar chief operating officer Orla Gregory, who has been with the company for 18 years. COO since 2016, Gregory’s experience includes time spent in EY Bermuda and in the Irish insurance industry.

Meanwhile, chief accounting officer Michael Murphy has been tapped to take on the deputy CFO post. The QBE and TriNet Group alumnus came onboard Enstar in May 2021.

Commenting on the development, Enstar chief executive Dominic Silvester stated: “Orla is a trusted advisor to the board and is well-positioned to serve as acting chief financial officer given her strong accounting and finance background in combination with her significant knowledge of our business and experience managing our global operations.

“She will work closely with Mike Murphy to lead our talented finance group, and I have great confidence in the collective strength of this team.”

Silvester also wished Wolf well and thanked him for his contribution. The former finance chief joined Enstar from AmTrust Financial Services in September 2020.
