A father-son tandem with a combined industry experience of almost seven decades has introduced a new kid in broker town.
Philip Smith has come out of retirement to join his son Martin at Mayfield Insurance Brokers. A report by
BQ Live said the new Hartlepool-based firm targets high net worth individuals and businesses in North East, England.
A Bluefin Network partner broker, Mayfield is banking on its local expertise. “Clients will have a dedicated account executive who will know how your business works or what special arrangements are needed for your high value personal property,” said the younger Smith, as quoted by the report.
The managing director added: “Thanks to our association with Bluefin Network, clients will have complete confidence that the very best deal has been obtained for them.”
His father, meanwhile, is ready for “a fresh start and an exciting new challenge.” Their previous family firm was W A Smith Insurance Brokers Ltd.
