Fenchurch Law has snapped up new members (pictured) for its coverage dispute team from Holman Fenwick Willan (HFW), Clyde & Co, and DWF.

The City law firm, which works exclusively for policyholders and brokers on complex insurance disputes, now has a bigger roster with the arrival of senior associate Laura Steer and associates James Breese and Daniel Robin.

With a particular focus on energy and property risks, Steer brings extensive experience in representing policyholders, insurers, and reinsurers in high-value cases to the role. She was recently seconded by HFW to Marsh where she was in charge of handling complex coverage disputes for policyholders.

Breese, whose experience includes time spent at a Medical Defence Union mutual, acted for insurers while at Clyde & Co. Robin, meanwhile, has worked for the London insurance market as a panel solicitor for insurers, as an insurance broker, and as an insurance claims handler.

“We are continuing to invest in the growth of what is already the UK’s largest team of policyholder-focused insurance disputes solicitors,” said Fenchurch Law managing partner David Pryce.

“Fresh from retaining our tier one ranking in The Legal 500, and being described as a ‘genuine leader’ in our field, we’re excited about the range of skills and experience that Laura, James, and Daniel will bring to our clients.”

Fenchurch Law specialises in areas such as construction & engineering, professional & financial risks, sports & entertainment, cyber & IT, personal accident & health, and high-net-worth.
