Insurance and reinsurance broking partner THB has announced a major new arrival today, as Sasa Brecerevic joins as chief operating officer.

Brecerevic was the COO at Hiscox for almost three years and played a pivotal role in the London Market Group’s influential London Matters initiative, which reported on the competitive position and future of Lloyd’s and the London market. Brcerevic was previously head of field, Hiscox USA and prior to Hiscox he was project leader of private equity practice at Boston Consulting Group.  

He will take over his role at THB with immediate effect, with Frank Murphy, THB CEO, believing he has the potential to help the company develop and reach its goals.

“Distribution is changing dramatically and Sasa’s appointment highlights THB’s intention to be at the forefront of these changes,” he said. “Sasa has a proven reputation as a business strategist and forward thinker. I have no doubt he will play a key role in the next phase of our development.”

Meanwhile, Brecerevic expressed his own excitement at the move.
