HIVE Underwriters (HIVE), a rapidly growing MGA, has appointed David Langran as its new class underwriter.
Langran will join HIVE after completing his contractual obligation with his current employer, Inigo, where he is head of aviation war. Before joining Inigo in 2022, he was an aviation war underwriter at Atrium for eight years.
Langran will join HIVE as it boosts its presence and capabilities in the aviation war classes. Under the new role, he will be based in London and report to HIVE chief underwriting officer Bruce Carman.
Carman said Langran's excellent broker and client relationships will further enhance HIVE's strong position in the war classes.
