Home & Legacy has made three new appointments to expand its high net worth insurance offering.

The insurer has appointed Andrew Reid as head of claims, a newly created senior management position. He joined Allianz in 2008 and, from 2012, he was Home & Legacy’s operational underwriting manager.

Taking over the operational underwriting manager role from Reid is 34-year industry veteran Angela Gordon, who has been promoted from senior technical underwriter. She will work with underwriting and markets director, Ade Ewington, to develop the firm’s high net worth product range and underwriting solutions.

Home & Legacy has also appointed Louella Woolley as senior technical underwriter. She has been working for the company’s underwriting services since 2013.

Commenting on the team expansion, Reid said the company has the opportunity “to set the benchmark for technical and customer service excellence.”

“With continued commitment and investment in the claims function at Home & Legacy, my ambition is for our expert team of handlers to become consistently recognised by brokers and customers as the absolute best in the market,” he said.
