Jensten has revealed a substantial boost for its Lloyd’s broking division, Jensten London Markets, through the appointment of three senior professionals: Marie Thomas-White, Steve Murphy, and Ally Templeton.

The move comes a year after the inception of the business, which was brought into being through the amalgamation of broking firms Senior Wright and Tasker & Partners.

Marie Thomas-White assumes the position of head of liability broking, bringing with her a wealth of experience garnered during her 14-year tenure at Bannerman Rendell. She was later appointed as divisional director of liability at The Underwriting Exchange in 2013.

Steve Murphy steps into the role of head of property broking, drawing on extensive expertise in property placement within the London Market. He has held senior Lloyd’s broking roles at Gallagher, Marsh, and, most recently, Lonmar Global Risks.

Ally Templeton comes on board as head of motor fleet broking, following his tenure as motor director at Citynet. Prior to this, he served as associate director at JLT Specialty, where he led the wholesale motor team.

In addition to the senior hires, Jensten London Markets also reinforced its core trading team with fresh talent in property, liability, and motor class disciplines.

“Jensten London Markets continues to deliver for producing and retail brokers looking for quality London Market broking,” Jensten wholesale MD Simon Taylor said. “As demand grows, we continue to invest in the business’s capability. The appointments we have announced demonstrate our commitment to deliver for our broker partners. Marie, Steve, and Ally are well-known in the market for their experience and capability, and we’re delighted to welcome them to Jensten. These appointments are a critical part of laying the groundwork for the next phase of growth.”
