Insurer Legal & General Group has appointed a new chief executive of its general insurance unit, it was announced today.
Cheryl Agius will take on the role, having previously served as the head of the UK strategic pension risk transfer team and a member of the division's senior leadership team,
Reuters reports.
Agius joined Legal & General in 2011 as international development director, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Prior to that, she worked for Hewitt and Towers Watson.
