In a Press release from the British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) this morning, it was announced that Markerstudy is set to return to the BIBA Conference this year – and has also re-joined the association.

Commenting on the news, Gary Humphreys, group chief underwriting officer of the insurer, said the time was right to become an active member of the association once again. He noted that Markerstudy took something of a step back from more externally focused industry activities to focus on its internal structure and strategy. Of course, he said, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the ability of everybody to fully engage in external events was impeded.

“Now we’re very much ready to showcase our brands, catch up with old friends and new,” he said, “and talk about what we’re up to – and the BIBA Conference is one of the best opportunities to do this in our industry.”

BIBA CEO Steve White welcomed Markerstudy back and noted how having specialist members on board was valuable to the association’s work in promoting greater access to insurance.

“Markerstudy has exciting plans to develop their proposition for customers,” he said, “and we look forward to working with them.”
