There are changes afoot at insurance intermediary PIB Group.

The company has announced a series of changes at the top of the organisation, specifically for its specialty division which is home to its specialist commercial lines brokers.

Most notably, Nigel Salisbury, the CEO of the specialty division, is set to move into the role of chief commercial officer, remaining with the executive team to work on a number of projects. It was stated in a company release that this would ultimately pave the way for Salisbury to “pursue interests outside of PIB within the next couple of years.”

This move sees Steve Redgwell join PIB with immediate effect, working alongside Salisbury on a handover. He has previously spent time at the likes of Aon and Heath Lambert.

“I am grateful for the transparency that Nigel showed in his long-term ambitions, which enabled me to start a search for his replacement. He has played a significant role in helping us build the company over the last four years or so, and I’m personally extremely grateful for everything he’s done for us,” said PIB Group CEO Brendan McManus. “I would like to wish both Nigel and Steve the best of luck in their new roles.”
