Global reinsurance outsourcing and consulting company Pro Global Holdings Limited (Pro) has announced the appointment of Steve Lewis as CEO, effective February 01. He will succeed interim CEO Andrew Donnelly, who stepped in following the departure of CEO Artur Niemczewski at the end of last year.

Prior to joining Pro, Lewis served as UK and international CEO at RSA. He also spent 25 years in various roles at Zurich, including as the company’s UKGI CEO.

“Steve brings with him a wealth of experience, and we look forward to benefiting from the insights and expertise that he has accumulated over his 30-plus-year career in reinsurance, building on Pro’s existing capabilities and strengths as we chart a course for the next stages of our growth and development in 2020 and beyond,” said Adam Barron, principal and founder of Acuity Investments, which owns Pro Global.

“I am very much looking forward to working with the team at Pro, and leading this innovative, dynamic and agile business to build on its excellent progress to date,” Lewis said. “I am delighted to be taking on a role that allows me to draw on my knowledge of the insurance industry and access my global network, where I can harness this opportunity to move Pro’s business to a different level.”
