Loss adjustor QuestGates is ramping up its focus on public transportation claims with a new dedicated unit.

Led by Andy Anderson (pictured), the unit will be part of its specialist services division. Anderson joins the firm having worked for the last four years with The Liability Network and having racked up a total of 17 years in the industry.

“I am excited about the prospect of developing the new public transport claims unit and I am confident that QuestGates has the depth of expertise to support that development,” he said.

Glen Donaldson, the company’s divisional director of specialist services, pointed to Anderson’s experience across the transport sector and in particular with railways, bus networks and light railways, as a reason why the division can thrive.

“I’m delighted that we have been able to strengthen our group of people offering highly specialised services with a professional of Andy’s talents,” he said. “The fact that he has a very loyal long-standing group of clients built up over the years speaks volumes for both the depth of his expertise and the quality of the service he delivers.

“We already have a number of adjusters within our existing team with the right skills and experience in managing transportation liability claims, and by bringing Andy on board we have the right person to bring them together and grow a unit dedicated to this complex area of claims where indemnity control is vitally important.”
