Specialist Risk Group (SRG) has opened a new London office in the St Botolph Building, EC3, consolidating colleagues from several existing locations.

The St Botolph Building is a modern commercial development in the City of London, known for its proximity to the Lloyd’s market. The facility offers flexible office space and advanced amenities, supporting both collaborative work and client meetings.

The group’s leadership has indicated that the new location will serve as a foundation for future development and integration across its specialist teams.

Since its launch in early 2020, SRG has grown through organic expansion and strategic acquisitions, forming a group of specialist insurance teams. SRG says that the new office represents the group’s first major step toward a permanent base in the capital, supporting integration across its operations.

Annie Wakeman (pictured above), group marketing & distribution director at SRG, said, “We’re proud to offer our colleagues a space that reflects who we are: open, ambitious, and connected. Our new office has been designed to bring people together, encourage collaboration, and inspire the very best of our specialist talent.

“It’s a major milestone for SRG and one that supports our continued commitment to the London Market and our people,” Wakeman said.

SRG has also made several recent leadership appointments to support its growth. Earlier this week, the group named Sasa Brcerevic as group chief commercial officer, a newly created role. Brcerevic, who previously served at Aon, brings experience in technology, broking, and consulting to the business.

The company also recently appointed Neil Nimmo as UK CEO, reflecting continued investment in senior leadership to drive expansion.

Internationally, SRG has expanded into the Asia-Pacific region with the acquisition of HL Suntek Insurance Brokers in Singapore. This move is part of a broader strategy to replicate the UK business model in new markets and offer specialist insurance solutions for complex risks.

To lead this regional growth, SRG appointed Collin Yap as CEO for Asia Pacific. Yap previously served as CEO of Marsh McLennan Singapore and brings over two decades of insurance sector experience to the role.
