Temple Legal Protection launches claims dispute service

Temple Legal Protection has expanded its loss adjuster fee insurance cover with the addition of a new claims dispute service.

 

The firm’s Loss Adjust Advantage product offers claimants cover for the fees of expert loss adjusters. It responds to material damage and business interruption policies and claims.

 

With the addition of the new claims dispute service, policyholders in dispute with their insurer over policy coverage will be given access to legal advice in relation to their rights and obligations. They will also be provided with cover for the costs of pursuing a claim against the insurer.

According to Temple, costs such as counsels’ fees, experts’ and court fees, and the risk of having to pay insurer’s costs will be covered where a claim is pursued.

 

“We now provide a comprehensive claims support service that enables claimants to achieve a faster and fairer settlement and directly enhances the level of resources brokers can access to support their clients through the claims process,” said Chris Wait, managing director of Temple Legal Protection.

 

Temple launched the claims dispute service by partnering with Fenchurch Law, a UK firm working exclusively for policyholders and brokers on insurance disputes.
