Stuart Fatt (pictured) is now the managing partner for construction at Gallagher.

Promoted from his position as international construction head, Fatt brings more than two decades of construction experience to his new role. He will report to UK specialty & wholesale chief executive John Thompson, who himself previously served as the company’s managing partner for construction.

“I’m extremely proud to be given the opportunity to lead this tremendous team and continue to build on what has been created and led to date by John,” commented Fatt.

“The current market dynamics make it a truly exciting time to lead our growing construction team, and I look forward to working across both the UK and international parts of our business to maintain the strong culture, team ethos, and cross-departmental collaboration that allows us to focus all our energy on our clients and our strategies to drive continued commercial success.”

Prior to joining Gallagher four and a half years ago, the construction expert spent nine years at Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group as well as a decade at Marsh before then.

“I am delighted to announce Stuart’s promotion to managing partner, which recognises his vast technical expertise and knowledge in this sector,” state Thompson. “Our team of construction specialists features some of the industry’s strongest talent, and we’re proud to have been able to appoint from within for this critical role – a testament to the wealth of talent we have and that continues to grow within our business.

“We look forward to benefiting from Stuart’s drive and ambition as we continue to establish the market’s leading construction proposition.”
