Niche construction and engineering managing general agent Ensurance UK has a new product for the building sector.
Collaborating with British Engineering Services, the Lloyd’s coverholder has bolstered its portfolio with the rollout of engineering inspection and insurance cover – offering policyholders not only protection against sudden and unforeseen damage but also access to more than 450 engineer surveyors.
“British Engineering Services is delighted to be working alongside Ensurance to offer a suite of industry-leading testing, inspections, and certification propositions provided by our highly skilled team of technical experts, spread across the whole of the UK,” said British Engineering Services’ group chief executive Stewart Kay.

Formerly part of FTSE 100 insurer RSA, British Engineering Services became an independent and privately-owned company in 2015. Through expertise in engineering compliance, the firm increases plant & equipment safety and longevity, and supports customers using interactive e-reporting systems and state-of-the-art technology.

Dealing directly with brokers and insurers in the UK and across Europe, the MGA delivers underwriting expertise and specialist insurance solutions for the construction and engineering markets. In 2017 it launched as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Australia-based Ensurance Ltd, building on decades of experience within its executive team in the UK.
