Cyber is a rapidly growing sector of the British insurance industry, showing no signs of slowing down. Insurance Business UK’s (IBUK) 5-Star Cyber providers for 2023 are creating the right infrastructure for this increasingly significant category.
IBUK identified this year’s best cyber insurers in the UK by enlisting some of the industry’s top experts. For 15 weeks, the IBUK research team conducted one-on-one interviews with specialist brokers and surveyed more within the publication’s network to gain a keen understanding of what insurance professionals think of current market offerings.
The brokers outlined what features they thought were most significant in a cyber insurance policy and how the insurers they dealt with rated on those attributes. Afterwards, the nominated insurers were measured on the strength of their relationships with brokers, their ability to handle claims, their underwriting expertise, and the strength of the individual products they provide.
