Chartered insurance broker Adler Fairways has added £8 million of gross written premium to the independent business by acquiring Primassure and ACM Broking.

Based in London Colney, ACM mainly provides commercial insurance. It has been trading since 1999, with expertise in sectors like leisure, hair/beauty, and recruitment. The firm was set up by co-founders Stuart Anderson and Gary Crowder.

Primassure, meanwhile, came to life in 2007 in Southend-on-Sea. Initially serving the UK diamond and jewellery industry, the broker has since expanded to cater to personal and commercial clients and is led by director Sharon Guyver.

The double swoop follows recent purchases by Adler Fairways – Intelligent Real Estate Due Diligence and Bryan James & Co became part of the group in late 2023.

Adler Fairways chief executive Anthony Adler, who made an announcement on LinkedIn, said in a release: “Primassure and ACM Broking bring with them extensive knowledge and experience, not solely within the general insurance market, but a range of specialisms too, allowing us to strengthen and enhance the range of services and advice we provide to clients.

“I am thrilled both businesses have joined Adler Fairways; their ethos and approach align with our own, and I would like to welcome all Primassure and ACM Broking employees and clients to Adler Fairways.”
