Chubb has announced that it has promoted Alex Jackson to the role of product head of management liability for Chubb Global Markets (CGM).

CGM is Chubb’s London Market wholesale and specialty business, which also includes its Lloyd’s platform.

Jackson succeeds the previous product head, Peter Bremner, who is leaving the business.

Jackson previously served as senior underwriter within the CGM management liability team. As the new product head of management liability, he will now lead all aspects of CGM’s management liability business, which includes responsibility for strategy, product, and business development, underwriting and service operations, as well as overall profit and loss performance, a release said.

He will continue to be based in London and will report to CGM chief underwriting officer and active underwriter of Chubb’s Lloyd’s syndicate 2488 Robert Wilson.

“I am delighted that we are able to promote Alex to this important role within Chubb Global Markets,” commented Wilson on Jackson’s appointment. “His appointment is testament to Alex’s skill set, expertise, energy and hard work, and I look forward to working with him as we continue to grow this key line of business.”

Last month, Chubb appointed Chris Eappariello as the president of consumer lines for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. The role is a newly created regional segment that comprises Chubb’s specialty personal lines, accident and health (A&H) affinity, consumer travel and direct marketing business across 26 countries.
