Asset Control chief executive Mark Hepsworth (pictured) has joined the Global Risk Partners (GRP) board as a non-executive director (NED).

Assuming the post today (December 01), the new NED brings more than 25 years of financial services experience to GRP. He has led Asset Control, a data management and analytics software solutions provider, since 2016.

“GRP has been one of the outstanding success stories in UK broking, and I am delighted to be joining the board,” said Hepsworth, whose credentials include time spent at the respective predecessor firms of ICE Data Services and MISYS.

“Mike [Bruce] and the team’s commitment to omni-channel distribution and leading-edge data analytics signals GRP’s intent to be at the forefront of change in the broking sector. I look forward to playing my part in helping them to realise their strategic ambitions in this space.”

Citing Hepsworth’s wealth of experience in the areas of financial data and technology, GRP chief executive Mike Bruce believes the director’s deep understanding of the data environment will significantly strengthen the insurance intermediary’s board.

“His advice and support will prove highly valuable to GRP as we continue to execute our digital transformation,” added the CEO.
