A specialist insurance broker has renewed its long standing relationship with a leading technology partner in a deal that will help the business enhance online customer experience and aid its fight against application fraud.

Markerstudy Retail has signed a five-year partnership extension with Open GI, which will allow the company to continue using Open GI’s broking software solutions as well as its latest technology.

The deal provides Markerstudy with the use of Open GI’s new online customer portal and self-service solution, designed to efficiently optimise both direct and aggregator traffic. The solution provides brokers with an intuitive way to make buying insurance online even easier, Open GI said in a statement.

As part of the deal, Markerstudy will also be able to use Open GI’s Broker Enrichment software, powered by Experian’s iCache, to help protect its customers while combating fraud effectively.

Martyn Holman, Markerstudy Group commercial director, said the company is eager to continue its successful partnership with Open GI.

“We’re continuously looking at ways to improve our customer journey and are confident that Open GI can support us in realising our goals, going forward,” he said.
