Charles Manchester was an occasional contributor to Insurance Business as part of the Managing General Agents’ Association until 2018. He has over 30 years’ experience in insurance. MBA and ACII-qualified, he holds or has held senior positions in an MGA, insurance companies, a Lloyd’s syndicate and Lloyd’s brokers. Charles was CEO of Manchester Underwriting Management Ltd (MUM) and the non-executive chairman of MGB Insurance Brokers Ltd, a Lloyd’s broker subsidiary of MUM and a non-executive director of International General Insurance Company (UK) Limited, an A- rated insurance company underwriting a wide range of specialty lines in the UK and internationally.
