Strata Community Insurance has become a key sponsor of the Multi Owned Properties Research Hub, launched at the Deakin University-hosted International Forum on Multi-owned Properties.

Multi Owned Properties Research Hub is a new online platform for sharing research on multi-owned properties from various jurisdictions around the world, located at http://www.mopresearchhub.org/.

“With more people living in multi-owned properties than ever before, governments, practitioners, and residents need access to reliable research and opportunities to engage with experts across multiple disciplines,” said Nicole Johnston of Deakin University.

The hub houses research papers lodged by academics, researchers, and other professionals in the strata sector, including Nicole Johnston and Sacha Reid's “Multi-owned Developments: A life cycle review of a developing research area”; and Hazel Easthope and Bill Randolph's “Principal–agent problems in multi-unit developments: The impact of developer actions on the on-going management of strata titled properties”.

Aside from Strata Community Insurance, the online hub's other founding sponsors are Strata Community Association and the Australian College of Community Association Lawyers.
