Newcastle-based risk management solutions provider Assurant will have a new, bigger home in the first half of next year.
A report by StokeonTrentLive cited Assurant’s Tunstall Trade Park lease for a 30,000 sq ft property which will be fitted out in time for a March move from Holditch House.
Lifting the lid on the relocation, Europe repair & service director Andy Sheard was quoted by the publication as saying: “We want to expand our service offering and to bring everyone in-house and under one roof, but we just didn’t have enough space.
“We are currently in an old building in Newcastle, sharing a facility with another company. So we wanted to relocate to a premises more fit-for-purpose.”
Sheard added that the firm’s goal is to eventually operate around-the-clock, with the larger space translating to more business, as well as new jobs.
