BLM managing partner suddenly steps down

Insurance News

By Terry Gangcuangco

BLM managing partner Gary Allison has retired to pursue other interests after 23 years at the law firm after only eight months in the position.

No other details have been provided, aside from the fact that a new managing partner has been named following Allison’s departure. He was formerly head of BLM’s healthcare department and was also a member of the executive board.

Replacing Allison is Vivienne Williams who assumed her position on July 17. She has been a partner at BLM for two decades.

“I pledge to work closely with colleagues throughout the firm, to ensure that BLM is a great place to work and also continues to move in the right direction,” commented Williams on her appointment.
