The goal is to become the leading energy team in the London market, and Minova Insurance’s UK-headquartered broking arm BMS Group Limited is wasting no time in reaching for that target.

In an announcement this morning, the independent specialist insurance and reinsurance broker said four executives are joining its energy division, reporting to BMS managing director of energy James Chicken. They are Lynsey Green, Robin Gibbs, Darren Jones, and Kevin Page.

Green, who joins from JLT, brings two decades of experience to BMS. This includes time spent at Aon, Agnew Higgins Pickering and Company, and Lloyd & Partners. Also an alumnus of JLT and Lloyd & Partners is Gibbs, who most recently was with Price Forbes.

Another making the switch from Price Forbes is Jones, who has 28 years of experience in energy. He was previously with Marsh and Agnew Higgins Pickering. Meanwhile, industry veteran Page has been tapped for his more than 30 years of know-how gained also at Price Forbes, Marsh, and Sedgwick.

“Sustaining exceptional client-focused services is at the heart of our culture, and, as we grow, we continue to attract the industry’s leading talent to our entrepreneurial team,” said BMS Group director Ian Gormley. “Lynsey, Kevin, Darren, and Robin are well respected in their fields, and their breadth of expertise compliments the knowledge within our growing energy division.

“We are a significant step closer to achieving our ambition of building the London market’s leading energy team. I would like to offer them all a very warm welcome.”
