Bridge Insurance Brokers brings in three

The phrase may be that two heads are better than one – but what about three?

Bridge Insurance Brokers, which already employs more than 100 across its London and Manchester offices, has now added to the Charlotte Street base with three senior hires.

First on the list is Rob Morrison, who becomes part of the real estate team as an account executive having spent 12 years with the property team at Reich.

“The construction industry has had a kickstart this year after a period of uncertainty, and we are hugely busy thanks to the owner-controlled insurance programmes, which cover a range of risks and puts the developer back in control,” said director of real estate Michael Regan. “Rob’s experience means we can continue to drive this industry shift with existing and new clients.”

Morrison arrives at the same time as Laura Whitby and Joanne Pitcher, who become part of the FlatGUARD division. Whitby will take on a client service executive role, having made the switch from RSA, while Pitcher becomes a claims executive after 14 years with Mansons.

“The residential flat insurance business has been the focus of much interest, and rightly so,” said Martin Kent-Heath, FlatGUARD operations manager. “Our team has been working hard to support any changes in the industry and the result of that work is that we now need to expand the team to manage the growth - which is across the UK. We’re delighted to welcome Laura and Jo to the team.”

The moves come as Bridge celebrates 50 years of business this year.
