Square Mile Broking has set some records in the independent Investor in Customers (IIC) assessment process as it obtains its first rating in the annual survey.

The firm, which arranges bespoke insurance for corporate clients, has received a three-star “exceptional” rating for customer service in its first IIC assessment.

The brokerage scored 8.91 out of 10, the highest recorded IIC result for a company in the financial services and insurance sectors. It was also the eight highest score ever recorded for any company going through the IIC process.

Square Mile Broking’s net promoter score also bucked industry trends by over 200%, the company said.

Andrew Costello, Square Mile Broking director, called the new recognition as a “true reward for the constant work” of their employees.

“To secure the top accolade was praise enough for our team, but to achieve the best ever rating for a business within the insurance and financial services sector and to deliver the eight best score ever for any company going through the process, was an amazing achievement for the business,” Costello said.

Commenting on the new survey score records, IIC managing director Tony Barritt said that it is “very rare” to meet a company like Square Mile Broking “that practices what it preaches across all areas of their business.”
