Global broking business Brokerslink has announced the inclusion of Robus Group, a captive and insurance management consultancy firm, to its network.

The addition enables Brokerslink to provide services to captive insurers, open market insurers, reinsurers, intermediaries, and corporate entities worldwide.

Founded over a decade ago, Robus operates as part of the Ardonagh Specialty group of companies. It offers a suite of captive management consultancy services, including accounting, treasury management, compliance, underwriting, actuarial, and business development. Currently based in Guernsey and Gibraltar, it joins the Brokerslink network following the earlier entry of Price Forbes, Bishopsgate, Inver Re, Besso, and Compass London Markets.

In a news release, Robus chief commercial officer Ronan Ryan highlighted the business’s commitment to customers.

“Robus prides itself on the strength of service we provide to our customers, and I know we can support Brokerslink’s vast network of partners and affiliates to explore new avenues for risk transfer,” said Ryan. “Captives are an important tool for organisations to gain greater financial control of their own risk, but they benefit greatly from our specific expertise in getting up and running.  I’m looking forward to working with new colleagues from around the world and share our knowledge in this area.”

Carla Alves, network engagement and operations director at Brokerslink, also commented on the value of providing organisations with specialised expertise.

“We are thrilled to welcome Robus Group to our network,” said Alves. “In a challenging global economy, we’re seeing more and more organisations turning to captive models as an alternative to traditional methods of risk transfer. We’re pleased to be able to offer access to the Robus Group’s specialised expertise, which complements other captive management and consultancy offerings we already have with the Brokerslink ecosystem.”

Earlier this month, Brokerslink expanded its reach in several Eastern European markets with the addition of four new affiliates from the region.
