Catlin tapped as keynote speaker for MGAA’s 2017 conference

Stephen Catlin, founder of the Catlin group and former executive deputy chairman of XL Catlin, has been tapped as the keynote speaker at the Managing General Agents’ Association’s third annual conference, according to an MGAA release. The conference will be held in London on July, 04.

Catlin has more than 40 years’ experience in the insurance market. At the conference, he will share the insight he has gained from four decades in the industry, as well as founding and growing “the market-leading underwriting business that bears his name,” according to MGAA. Catlin will also highlight the importance of professionalism in the MGA sector.

Delegates at the conference will also have to opportunity to hear from sector and industry experts during two panel debates covering the growth and continued sustainability of different MGA models. There will also be a capacity exchange running throughout the conference. The exchange will give MGAs an opportunity to meet and discuss business opportunities with more than 60 capacity providers and service suppliers who support the sector.
