Two brokers are on the move in London as they attempt to attract the cream of the new talent crop.
Chesterfield Insurance Brokers and Lochain Patrick Insurance Brokers, both H.W. Kaufman Financial Group companies, have today announced the relocation of their London offices to the fifth floor of One Minster Court, Mincing Lane, London EC3R 7AE, in the heart of the London Financial Market.

“Despite advancing technology, which the insurance industry depends on, the business remains relationship based,” said Alan Jay Kaufman, Chairman, President and CEO, H.W. Kaufman Financial Group in a statement.  “Keeping our offices in a central location in London helps us to further foster our London ties. Our now, even closer proximity to Lloyd’s of London will continue to increase our competitive advantage—providing brokers a more direct line to Lloyd’s and the ability to conduct valuable in-person interactions with leading London insurance professionals.”

The relocation to a new workspace aims to provide employees with an open layout that promotes teamwork. In addition, H.W. Kaufman also believes it will be able to better serve its growing client base, which is expanding by double digits annually.

“We are experiencing significant growth and our new location will further enhance collaboration among Kaufman companies and other London groups to better serve our clients and markets,” said James Stevenson, Managing Director, Chesterfield Group.

The new office is less than a three minute walk from Lloyd’s of London.

“One of our on-going strategies is to attract bright, young talent into the insurance industry, specifically to the Kaufman team,” said Andrew Hills, managing director, Lochain Patrick. “Our new London office location will not only attract top candidates, but also assist with retention. Young professionals want to be in the middle of the action, and this new space allows them to have that exciting opportunity.”
