Earlier this year the UK claims function at RSA gained Chartered status from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII)… now it’s Chubb’s turn.

The latter’s UK & Ireland claims team has been awarded Chartered Insurer status, which means members of the Chubb unit now have access to the professional body's technical, market, and regulatory research, as well as the opportunity to develop their careers through specialist qualifications.

“I am delighted that the Chubb UK&I claims team has been awarded Chartered Insurer status by the Chartered Insurance Institute,” commented Chubb’s UK & Ireland claims director John Latter. “This is a tremendous achievement and demonstrates the commitment we have to investing in our people.

“It also shows the importance we place on the value of professionalism and providing the highest possible levels of service for our customers at all times.”

The CII is dedicated to building public trust in the insurance and financial planning profession, with members adhering to high professional standards.

“We are delighted to award Chubb Corporate Chartered status for the whole of its claims operations across the UK and Ireland,” said CII’s managing director of engagement Keith Richards. “By becoming Chartered, Chubb has demonstrated its commitment to the highest standards of professionalism for the benefit of its customers, partners, and employees.

“This is no mean feat for an organisation of this scale and both Chubb and its employees can be proud of its achievement.”
