HDI Global Specialty UK has appointed Jade Wilcox (pictured above) as director of delegated authority.

Wilcox brings to the role around 20 years of experience in the London market and North American delegated authority business. She is based in HDI’s London office and reports to Rafael Rebitzky, managing director and chief underwriting officer of HDI Global Specialty UK.

Wilcox was most recently underwriting manager, US delegated authority at HDI, having joined the specialty lines insurer in 2021 from Arch Insurance. Prior to Arch, Wilcox worked with various broking and underwriting firms, such as Cooper Gay & Co. (now Ed Broking), Pioneer Underwriters, and AXIS Capital.

“Since joining the business a little over a year ago, Jade has continued to develop and grow our US delegated authority book as well as building out our delegated authority team,” Rebitzky said. “I have no doubt that she will continue the excellent work that has already been done by the UK delegated authority team, creating a profitable, growing business division based on an open working culture across all functions.”
