Specialist insurer Hiscox has upgraded its product suite for the media and creative industries, unveiling two bespoke professional indemnity products aimed at professionals involved in digital marketing and event organisation.

The company has also enhanced its products for those in marketing, advertising and communications, commercial film production and multimedia amid the changing risk landscape in the sectors.

Hiscox said the improved product suite will address new exposures faced by the media and creative industries. The insurer said the nature of the risks within the sectors have been changed by rapid technological advances such as social media, on-demand TV, digital radio and mobile and table devices.

“This new suite of products will further boost our ability to serve clients working in this field, by being even more tailored to their specific needs,” said James Brady, head of media at Hiscox UK and Ireland.
