Aon names Hoffman global commercial risk CEO

Aon plc has appointed Hoffman as global CEO of Commercial Risk, effective June 1, 2026.

Hoffman will lead Aon’s global commercial risk business and report to Joe Peiser, CEO of Aon’s Risk Capital. He will work with regional teams and Aon Business Services to deliver analytics-enabled solutions for clients navigating increasingly complex risk environments.

He brings more than 25 years of experience in the insurance and financial services sectors as both a broker and underwriter. Hoffman currently serves as Aon’s global specialty & financial products leader and head of M&A for North America, overseeing businesses including financial services, cyber solutions, intellectual property, crisis management, and credit solutions.

Since joining Aon in 2003, he has held several senior positions, including global cyber leader, CEO of cyber solutions for North America, and president of US cyber solutions. Earlier in his career, he spent five years at Chubb as an underwriting manager and senior underwriter.

Peiser said Hoffman “has spent his career working closely with clients to address their most challenging exposures, from cyber and financial lines to emerging and systemic risks”.

Hoffman said organisations are facing “unprecedented risk complexity, from cyber and transaction risk to increasing natural catastrophe exposure and adverse liability trends in the US”.

Previsico names Trumper CEO for global expansion

London-based flood forecasting insurtech Previsico has appointed Trumper as chief executive officer to lead its next phase of growth and international expansion.

Trumper joins from Axco Insurance Information, where he served as managing director for five years. As CEO, he will oversee operational delivery and the scaling of the business across the UK while accelerating expansion into the US and other international markets.

He succeeds Jonathan Jackson, who is retiring from his full-time executive role. Jackson will remain involved with the company during the transition period.

Chairman David Marock said Trumper “brings exactly the right leadership experience to guide the business into its next chapter”, while thanking Jackson for his contribution as CEO.

Trumper said he was “thrilled to join Previsico at this exciting time of international expansion, following great traction gained with UK insurers and corporations, and early success in the US”.

Rokstone Agriculture names Rusnak senior underwriter

Rokstone Agriculture Farm and Ranch has appointed Rusnak as senior underwriter as the division reports record growth in 2026.

Rusnak joins from Westfield Insurance, where she spent a decade progressing from market underwriter to operations manager and later underwriting practices and quality assurance manager. She brings more than 15 years of experience across underwriting, operations, product development, and compliance, with previous roles at Amica Mutual Insurance and Montana Insurance Agency.

Her expertise includes data-optimised risk placement, straight-through processing analysis, workflow management, and emerging risk trends. Most recently, she served as chair of the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies Commercial & Personal Lines Seminar.

Joshua Lauth, president of Rokstone Agriculture Farm and Ranch, said Rusnak brings expertise in technology-driven decision-making, emerging risk response, and service delivery.

Rusnak said the role offers an opportunity “to make a real impact, to drive growth, and get back to doing what I love best”.
