Two insurance businesses have strengthened their leadership teams with senior appointments.
CEC strengthens board
Specialist claims support provider Claims Equilibrium Club (CEC) announced the promotion of Christine Thomson and Paul Nicholson to its board of directors.
Thomson (pictured top, right), now operations director, and Nicholson (pictured top, left), now sales and marketing director, have worked closely with founder and managing director Roger Topping for several years.
The promotions came during a period of expansion for the firm, driven by a growing client base. Topping said the appointments reflected both the contributions of Thomson and Nicholson to CEC’s growth and the company’s focus on enhancing its client-centric model.
Verlingue expands employee benefits leadership

Verlingue UK has appointed Melissa Liddicoat (pictured immediately above) as deputy sales director for its employee beneifts business, bringing more than a decade of experience in the insurance and health benefits market.
In her new role, Liddicoat is tasked with client development, team leadership and supporting national sales performance. She also represented Verlingue's Employee Benefits proposition externally.
Seb Merritt, executive director – Employee Benefits, said her appointment aligned with Verlingue’s ambition to grow through consultancy-led advice, long-term relationships, and client-focused delivery.
