Two senior business development managers (BDMs) are joining Jackson Lee Underwriting for the Midlands and the South.

Moving from ALPS, where he worked for almost a decade, Danny Buxton (pictured) is the underwriting agency’s new BDM for the Midlands. At ALPS he was most recently in charge of two insurance networks and more than 200 nationwide brokers.

Damian Frampton, on the other hand, has been named Jackson Lee Underwriting’s BDM for the South. The two-decade industry veteran served as strategic account manager at CEC Claims after his BDM stints at Pen Underwriting and Willis Networks. He was also with Broker Network, Fidelius Insurance, and Evolution Underwriting.

“We are delighted to welcome Damian and Danny to the team,” said Nick Mohan, joint managing director at Jackson Lee Underwriting. “They will both work alongside and strengthen our existing team of BDMs to support our key broker accounts in the South and the Midlands.”

Mohan added: “Damian has years of BDM experience under his belt and is well known in the market – he has built up a solid reputation and network of broker contacts. Danny is ambitious and hardworking with an affinity for relationship management.”

Jackson Lee Underwriting’s niche insurance products include both personal and commercial lines, as well as leisure lines. The underwriting agency is also the exclusive GAP scheme provider for the British Insurance Brokers’ Association.
